"textContent": "I've been thinking about this for a good year or so and committed to a budget for it earlier this year. I haven't maxed out on the budget yet (£20/month), but here's how it currently looks:\n\nStjepan Sejic (comic books author): £4.50\nWikipedia: £1.75\nLinux Mint: £4.50\nMozilla Thunderbird: £4.50\n\nIf I continued along a similar vein then LibreOffice ought to get a bit. I'm considering a donation to The Guardian too, but anything politically related makes me keep reconsidering and wondering if I'm taking in the 'bigger picture' well enough and maybe there's a cause I consider to be more deserving. Politics aside I quite like the idea of say artists not having to answer to big-name-company to get scraps of the profits. I'm interested in what other people here do, partly as a general 'bigger picture' perspective check.",
