"textContent": "I have an AW2725DM monitor. I noticed a strange bug or maybe a defect, or maybe it's by design for this particular monitor, with my monitor I purchased 2 months ago. I set my brightness at 60 and contrast at 90 for this monitor. The default is 75 for both brightness and contrast for this monitor for the sRBG preset mode. Now for the issue: When the monitor changes it's resolution, after that 4-second HDMI handshake where the screen is black, when the image comes back on, it seems to start off at the default brightness for that preset for one second then sets to my chosen setting, so in otherwords, the screen darkens up after one second of the image being shown after the HDMI handshake. Now if I set the brightness to anything over 75, then it will brighten up after 1 second of the signal is detected or or the brightness is anything less than 75 it will dark up after one second of receiving the signal. If I keep the brightness at 75 then I don't notice any brightness change...\n\nRead more",
