USB-C power delivery question

I've got a raspberry pi 500 which can't deliver enough power over USB to portable hard drives. A suggestion has already been made on another thread of using a USB powered hub to provide the juice to the HDD and the pi accesses it through the hub, but I'm not keen on this because the pi is a HTPC of sorts in my living room and my wife wants to keep cabling to a minimum (plus it would be harder to relocate the pi with more wires hanging out of it).
I'm currently powering the pi through a USB-C charger that is rated for 65W (the pi 500's original charger is rated 27W). Is there such a hub that would be connected to the USB-C charger and plug directly in to the pi, power both and provide a data connection to the HDD for the pi?
