A car in my parking garage got broken into and gas siphoned (pic)

The entire lock cylinder on the door is removed. 😮 Fuel door is open and smudges all around it. (Rest of the car looks spotless) It's a Suv so large tank. I'm guessing someone broke into the car just to siphon the $6/gallon premium gas. 🤔 (else What thief normally walks around with something that could contain gallons of gas?)
