Very annoying prompts Android 16

It's my Razr 2024. I'm getting a prompt several times daily to, "fix up your contacts". If I take the bait, I'm asked to merge contacts that have nothing to do with each other. This seems to be a tough one and thus far, nobody can figure it out. Can you help? Thanks and have a good one!
