Free Energy from the Vacuum? Warp Drive Pioneer Unveils Battery-Free ‘MicroSparc’ That Allegedly Draws Power from the Quantum Vacuum
Casimir, founded by NASA & DARPA warp drive scientist Sonny White, has unveiled a chip that allegedly draws energy from the quantum vacuum.

They claim sticking a (nanoscale) post between two Casimir plates, like this:
|,|
causes electrons to jump to the post. Hook one wire up to the plates, the other up to the post, and you get a current.
To me, this immediately leads to all sorts of interesting geometries. One is to curve the plates around the post. That looks a lot like a carbon nanotube with a little wire in the middle. It would also explain why electrons supposedly tend to move down the center of such a nanotube.
Or maybe it doesn't work at all...
