Will all 2.5 Gbps USB-C adapters pretty-much perform the same?

I recently bought a Dell refurbished Dell Latitude 7430 (April 2022 model) which, annoyingly, does not come with an Ethernet port. There do not appear to be many choices for a 2.5 Gbps USB-C Ethernet adapter (which is fine).
