It is little understood, and everything I am about to say is my opinion, it is little understood that when you near confronting truth you face the issues created by paradox. The experience of truth realization involves reconciling apparent opposites at an intuitive flash or altered level of conscious experience, an ah ha moment, etc. Let’s start with the ego. It is there to save us from endless awareness of conscious pain that if experienced from its point of origin would have killed us had we not shut it off. Had we not suppressed our traumatic experiences they would not have ended. By being co-opted and spirit broken was the only way to survived. We became what we at first resisted traded our real love of life for ego greatness.
