It appears that cpuid dot com has been compromised. HWmonitor and CPU-z from this site have been trojanized.

DO NOT update or install these programs. If you have old installs you should be safe. v1.63 of HWmonitor seems to be the bad one.

Some reports state that winget repositories of these programs are still safe, but I wouldn't risk it personally.
