real economics of US farms and why billionaires are buying up farmland

so this normally a farm/homesteading channel where normal middle aged city guy decided to buy a farm in vermont like 9 years ago[there is an amateur vibe to most of his stuff so no claim of authoritative knowledge or vast experience/education, but he will do the homework]. typically videos feature lots of cute animals and their antics. but in being a good content creator he has expanded and done some deep dives into the more controversial aspects of farming. in a more documentary type vid he went over the history/myth/illusion of farm to table restaurants.
