So first off, I can see now why AMD didn't like the optics of this thing. More power hungry and lower boost clock. But they are still releasing it so they believe it will be a worthwhile sale to the custom cooling crowd who laugh in the face of heat and ridiculous power and also system integrators who won't mind using robust cooling solutions and charging twice for the privilege.

This looks very promising but unfortunately, only a tiny percentage of people in 2026 will be able to see that high a speed on their 9950X3D2. It's just not reliably possible without official CUDIMM support from AMD.
So what are you guys planning to use this thing for? Video encoding? LLMs? Compilation workloads? 1000 browser tabs (very valid usecase IMHO)?
