"textContent": "I am wondering what the current music consumption trends are.\nHow do people listen to specific songs and albums these days?\n\nFrom late 90s to mid 2000s, many power users would pirate the mp3 via P2P (Napster, Kazaa, Soulseek, etc)\nFor the last few years, many people just go to youtube to listen.\nOr, they use Spotify for easy 1-click access to an entire album.\n\nBut, if they want to play it in their car via my smartphone, then what?\nDo people still use downloaded mp3s?\nIs this over? *Do people still collect mp3's with Soulseek, or is that too risky & dangerous now?\nDo most people just buy the mp3 for .99c? Or the entire album for $10?\nPlease PM me anything you don't want to post publicly.\n__________________",
