"textContent": "On fields of honor, brave souls still stand, Guarding freedom across this land. Through smoke and fire, through fear and pain, Some gave all and never came home again. They marched through deserts beneath harsh skies, With courage burning deep in their eyes. Far from home, yet proud and strong, Defending a place where all belong. The bugle sounds, the flags still wave, For every hero laid in grave. For every family left behind, Whose broken hearts still search and find. The echoes of footsteps long since gone Still whisper softly at the dawn, Reminding all who live today Freedom was bought a costly way. To those who serve and stand the line, May Heaven’s light upon you shine. May angels walk where soldiers tread, And guard the living and the dead. So on this day, we bow our heads For those now resting with the blessed. Their sacrifice time won’t erase, For heroes live through honor’s grace. Gone from sight, but never apart, Forever carried in America’s heart.",
