  "textContent": "_This is a piece I wrote for a 100-word creative writing competition earlier in the year. I did have a better idea, but by the time I came to sit down and write it, I didn't have the brainpower for it (alas). So instead I threw together something silly and alliterative in blank verse! It didn't win anything, but now that means I can share it with you. Yay!_\n\n* * *\n\nMillenniums and more have passed, my kit,\nSince many military mishaps 'twixt\nThe mighty meerkats and the ratty moles\nWere mounted in most monstrous manners all.\nSuch menace and malevolence, alas,\nMade mournful, mousy milksops common here.\nThe meerkats marched upon the moles' hills tall,\nAnd then the mole rats razed their mazes down.\nFor shame! the meerkats hissed and moaned.\nYou shame yourselves, the mole rats mocked in turn.\nThe manifested clamour then moved out\nAcross the market square and through the marsh.\n\nIn musing moments, one may hear them still,\nThe mole rats and the meerkats making war.",
