Applications are open for a three-week National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Institute on the New Deal–era Federal Writers’ Project (FWP), running June 29–July 18, 2026. Designed for faculty, advanced graduate students, and independent scholars, the hybrid program includes virtual sessions and an in-person research week at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
