"textContent": "The Touring Classics Part 1 DLC takes RENNSPORT back to one of the rougher, louder eras of German touring car racing. The paid DLC is available for $14.99, adding the Hockenheimring Classic Layout, built around the old forest section that was removed from the real circuit in 2002 after FIA safety changes. It is not meant to be a perfect copy of the original layout, but the goal is clear. RENNSPORT has mixed the old high-speed forest runs with the modern GP course to bring back the feel of a track that demanded commitment.\n\nThe DLC also adds four touring car legends: the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI, Mercedes-Benz AMG 190 E EVO, BMW M3 E30 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class V6 DTM. These cars come from an era where the driver had to do the work. No hand-holding, no easy way out, just sharp engines, nervous chassis behavior and plenty of consequence when the car is pushed too far.\n\nRENNSPORT is also adding a large batch of liveries with this update. The Touring Classics cars get 20 bespoke heritage-style liveries included free for DLC owners. The RENNSPORT Cup Collection adds 348 liveries across 29 vehicles, priced at 50 RENN$ each. There are also 8 Hall of Fame liveries for GT3 cars, reserved for winners of official RENNSPORT leagues and events. The free side of the update brings Thermalito into the game as well. The track started as a community mod from DDF Racer with RENNSPORT working with Nukedrop to bring it into the official lineup.\n\nTwo additional cars are also included with the free content. The HWA EVO.R brings a modern take on the spirit of the 190E, built with the Green Hell in mind. The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport offers something different, with a mid-engine layout and modern downforce that gives players a cleaner contrast to the older touring cars. The update also makes another pass at the AI. RENNSPORT says this is not being treated as a major new version yet, but Rikard, Daniel and the engineering team have made changes that should be noticeable during races. The focus is on making AI drivers feel more settled and less erratic on track.\n\nCollision awareness has been improved with AI drivers taking more care around both players and other computer-controlled cars. Cornering logic has also been adjusted, helping them judge braking points and lines through corners more cleanly. They should stay closer to proper racing lines, handle race starts better, behave more consistently across car classes and follow pit lane rules with fewer issues. RENNSPORT also says the AI now works within the same physical limits as the player, instead of appearing to ignore the track physics. Check out the full patch notes here.",
