"textContent": "NBA The Run received a new patch today with bug fixes and gameplay tuning updates. The developers also shared a roadmap the team has planned over the next few months and into 2027. Today’s patch focuses on stability, gameplay and balance. It addresses crashes tied to stats reporting, fixes soft lock issues caused by players forfeiting at the same time, adds improvements to KO Solos and targeted player switching, and brings general updates to the front end, UI and audio. The team also made tuning changes, adjusted player ratings and changed the rarity of rulesets to create more variety.\n\nThe roadmap starts in July with a Pre-Heat game update that adds three new NBA players and other updates. August brings the first season, Summer Heat, which will run into September. That season is expected to add new players, a Drive Camera angle, a Championship Belt that evolves over time, a comms wheel, Practice Mode, new rulesets, new courts and more shop items.\n\nPractice Mode will also make its way into the game, allowing players to jump onto any court and create rulesets in Solos or Squads, giving teams a place to work on strategies before heading back into regular matches. The new rulesets include Block Party, where every block takes one point away from the opponent and All the Fire, where fire shots get a plus-one scoring boost. Summer Heat will also bring another New York City court in honor of the champs with both daytime and tournament versions.\n\nLeaderboards are also being targeted for Summer Heat, though the developers called that one a stretch goal. AI improvements, HUD changes, player tuning and balance updates are also part of the plan for the season. After Summer Heat, the roadmap gets less specific, but the team said new seasons will continue every two to three months with more players, features, modes, rulesets and ongoing updates. Ranked play and ladders are planned for later this year, while voice chat is also on the roadmap as the team looks for better ways to let players communicate with teammates and opponents.\n\nThe biggest item is Campaign Mode, but that one is further out. The developers said they are working on a concept that can be played solo or with friends, either locally or online, but they want to take the time to do it properly. Campaign Mode is currently being targeted for spring 2027. Check out the latest blog at the official website for additional details.",
