Source

EA Sports FC 26 update 1.6.2 is now available, bringing a handful of improvements across The World’s Game mode, Clubs, Career Mode and overall presentation.

One of the bigger additions comes to The World’s Game Tournament, where players can now view a Tournament Tree during the knockout rounds and access the FC Hub while actively competing to track objectives and progress. The update also fixes an issue that could cause penalty shootout matches to display incorrect aggregate scores and resolves problems with tournament progression not displaying properly after winning a competition.

Career Mode received several fixes, including the return of National Team selection for Manager Career Live Start Points set in May 2026. The team also addressed issues involving tournament finals displaying incorrectly, scout instruction filters resetting unexpectedly and Youth Academy reports showing placeholder values instead of the proper attribute ranges.

Clubs players should no longer encounter an error when creating a new goalkeeper Virtual Pro, while AI Facility boosts will no longer apply to user-controlled Pros. The update also includes refreshed kits, star heads, portraits, commentary, stadiums, boots, crowds and other visual assets. We’ve posted the full patch notes below.
