Polyphony Digital has released the latest Gran Turismo 7 update and it’s a big one for fans of endurance racing. Update 1.70 is available today and adds five new car, including several of the top prototype machines currently competing on the world’s biggest stages.
Joining the garage are the 2025 BMW M Hybrid V8, 2023 Ferrari 499P, 2025 Peugeot 9X8, 2024 Porsche 963 and the Porsche 911 Turbo S Safety Car (992). The lineup leans heavily into modern hybrid prototype racing, giving players access to some of the most recognizable endurance cars on the grid today.
The update also introduces Extra Menu No. 54, Collection: Hybrid Prototypes, which becomes available in the Café for players who have reached Collector Level 64 or higher.
Five new race events are being added to World Circuits as well. Players can take on the European FR Challenge 550 at Eiger Nordwand Reverse, the Pickup Truck Race at Fishermans Ranch, and three Gr.1 Prototype Series events at Watkins Glen Long Course, 24 Heures du Mans Racing Circuit and Sardegna Road Track A.
Outside of racing, Scapes is getting an update too, with Pikes Peak becoming the latest featured curation for players looking to capture new photos of their favorite cars. Check out the full patch notes at the official website.
