As launch day approaches, the team behind NBA The Run says its attention is fully on getting everything ready for release. The arcade-style basketball title arrives worldwide tomorrow, June 9 at 2:00 PM ET, when downloads become available and servers officially go live across all supported platforms. Based on what was learned during testing, several gameplay adjustments and fixes have been made. Players can expect nine new dribble and style move animations, reduced goaltending around the basket, a shorter blocking reach for elite defenders, updated player ratings, rebalanced rulesets for more variety between rounds and improvements to rebounding physics. The update also includes changes to certain player abilities, smoother gameplay animations, revised dribble audio and a number of bug fixes addressing ranking, XP tracking, stat displays, MVP issues and a crash that could occur at the end of games. NBA The Run launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam for $29.99. A Deluxe Edition will also be available for $39.99, featuring rookie versions of Stephen Curry’s 2009 Warriors season, Kevin Durant’s 2007 SuperSonics season and Luka Dončić’s 2018 Mavericks season. It also includes 1,000 CRED, which can be used in The Shop for alternate jerseys, advanced dunks, taunts and other unlockable content. > NBA THE RUN launches on Tuesday, June 9th at 11:00am PT / 2:00pm ET on PS5, XBOX Series X|S and Steam via PC. > > Digital download at $29.99.
