EA Sports recently confirmed that College Football 27 is coming to PC, marking the first time the series will launch on the platform alongside its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. The team in Orlando says bringing the game to PC has been a focus since the decision was made with the goal of delivering the full experience on day one rather than as a later release. The developer also shared a detailed breakdown of the PC version’s graphics and performance options. Players will be able to customize window modes, monitor selection, resolution, refresh rates, frame rate caps, HDR support, VSync and a range of visual presets designed to balance image quality and performance across different hardware setups. More advanced settings include ray-traced lighting, texture quality, lighting quality, crowd density, sideline detail, shadow quality, ambient occlusion, visual effects, depth-of-field options, lens flares and 3D grass. Players with higher-end systems can push visual fidelity further, while those on less powerful hardware can scale settings back for smoother gameplay. One of the bigger additions is the ability to separately adjust gameplay and cutscene visuals. That means players can prioritize frame rate during games while still keeping replays, team entrances and other presentation moments looking their best. Make sure to read the full deep dive at the official website.
