"textContent": "The GT Icons Pack is scheduled to arrive for Project Motor Racing on June 23, bringing nine legendary race cars and a classic American road course from one of the wildest periods in motorsports history. This was back when race cars were loud, twitchy, unpredictable and completely dependent on the driver behind the wheel. No assists, no safety nets, just raw power, grip and figuring out how to hang onto the thing for an entire race.\n\nThe pack is split across three classes pulled from the late 1960s and early 1970s, each with its own personality. GT 70 is built around homologation specials that started life as road cars before getting turned into serious race machines. That lineup includes the Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0, Chevrolet Corvette C3 and Ford Capri RS3100, all cars that reward aggressive driving but can bite back just as quickly.\n\nSports Car 67 leans into the prototype side of racing during a time when manufacturers were trying just about everything to find more speed. The class includes the Chaparral 2F with its massive wing setup, the Ford Mk IV and the Lola T70 Mk 3. These cars were built around big engines, high speeds and pushing designs further than most people thought possible at the time.\n\nGT 60 rounds things out with three lighter, more analogue racers that still have a huge following today. The Shelby Daytona Coupe, Jaguar E-Type Lightweight and Corvette Grand Sport all bring something different to the track, but they share the same basic idea. They want drivers who are comfortable sliding the rear end around and staying planted when the power comes in.\n\nAlso included is Rocky Knoll, a scanned American road course filled with long straights, heavy braking zones and fast corners that fit these cars perfectly. It looks like the kind of track where one mistake can ruin a lap, but getting everything right feels incredibly rewarding.",
