Lewis Hamilton, Gabriel Bortoleto and Valtteri Bottas are on the cover with the game moving into the new 2026 Formula 1 season and all the changes coming with it. EA also confirmed the full reveal trailer is set to arrive Wednesday, May 20 at 11:00 AM ET.\n\nAudi and Cadillac are joining the grid. The rules are changing. Drivers are moving teams again. Formula 1 is heading into a pretty different era, so the game is changing along with it.\n\nAs mentioned last year, instead of putting out a brand-new F1 game, they’re handling the 2026 season as paid DLC for F1 25 while they work on a bigger overhaul planned for 2027.\n\nEA didn’t go too deep into details, but they did say the 2027 game is supposed to look and play differently from the current games.
