NBA 2K26 Update 7 Adds Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo - Patch Notes

NBA 2K26 update 7 is now live on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with the Steam version is expected to arrive on May 15. The update mostly sets the stage for Season 7, which tips off Friday, May 15 at 11 AM ET. The biggest additions come to the WNBA side of the game with the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo now available as playable teams in WNBA Quick Play. Visual updates were also made across the league, as every WNBA team received updated uniforms and court floors reflecting the latest changes for the 2026 season. There’s not much for gameplay, but it does include smoother drive transitions out of standing stepback moves to better match real player movement and momentum. MyNBA also received a fix for an NBA Cup issue that could pop up when using a non-standard schedule.
