The April update for Gran Turismo 7 is almost here with update 1.69 scheduled to go live early tomorrow morning, April 23 at 2:00 AM ET. It’s another content update that adds a mix of new cars, events, and a feature tied to an optional add-on. Three new cars are joining the lineup led by the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964). It’s joined by the 1993 Renault Twingo and the 2024 Yangwang U9, giving players a mix of classic and modern rides to take out on the track. One of the bigger additions is Power Pack Challenges, a new mode where players can earn rewards based on how many races they complete within a set period. Rewards rotate weekly and progress can be tracked through the World Map or the notification panel on the Event Select screen. This mode is connected to the Power Pack, which is a paid add-on for the PlayStation 5 version of the game. The Café is also getting an update with Extra Menu No. 53 focused on a Muscle Car collection for players who have reached Collector Level 55. On the track side, new World Circuits events are being added, including races at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, Yas Marina Circuit and Autódromo de Interlagos. Scapes is also picking up a new featured curation called Move the Camera Up and Down III as part of the update.
