Project Motor Racing Free to Play Until March 30 on Steam

Straight4 Studios is giving players a chance to jump into Project Motor Racing with a free to play weekend running through March 30 at 1:00 PM on Steam. As of this news post, the free to play offer is not available on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. The timing lines up well with the arrival of the 2.0 update, which represents the biggest overhaul to the simulation since launch. The latest update focuses on making the driving experience feel more natural and consistent across the board. Grip to slip transitions have been smoothed out, braking feels more stable and both traction control and ABS behavior have been dialed in to respond more realistically. Players should also notice improvements in force feedback and controller response, along with better throttle and turbo behavior. On top of that, car to car contact has been reworked to deliver more believable collision interactions during races and much more.
