Hitori + Kaiso 1998–2001 is Casino Versus Japan’s __ fourth album and first compilation of unreleased tracks. The album was released on January 30, 2004, via Attacknine.

Century Gothic is used for the artist name on the front cover with a slight drop-shadow. In the bottom right corner, the album name is set in Arial. There is heavy tracking used on most text.

The track list on the back cover uses Arial Bold, also with heavy tracking.

The cover design/concept is credited to Hologramrinse/Erik Alwell, who is a cofounder of the Attacknine label
