This project is a collaboration between the artist Cosimo Wunderlin and the musician Raphael Luca Fluri. The album is conceived as the official soundtrack to Wunderlin’s art project Mythen der Nachwelt. Some tracks are dedicated to specific paintings, while others reflect moods, atmospheres, or scenes from the narrative world of Mythen der Nachwelt in an auditory form.

The art project tells stories from a fictional, futuristic world and uses various media such as painting, illustration, text, and music. With each work, the narrative is expanded and further developed. The result is a series of fragments that form a cohesive artistic whole, which can be experienced both as a cohesive whole and as independent pieces.

For the vinyl album artwork, the typeface Lucifer by Nguyen Gobber is used exclusively. It conveys a sense of menace while remaining elegant and mysterious, an aesthetic that strongly reinforces the art project’s concept. In combination with the visual imagery of the artwork, the typeface creates a distinctive tension and plays a significant role in shaping the overall visual identity.

The album is available on Bandcamp.
