It examines the evolution of typographic design applied to football jerseys. Through historical research, the project shows how jerseys have become culturally and economically significant. The focus is on the development of jersey numbers, which have transformed from purely functional elements into meaningful symbols of identity.\n\nTypography shapes how numbers (and the players who wear them) are perceived, influencing a team’s image.
