"textContent": "Contributed by Daniel Dell\n\n\n _**Source: www.youtube.com **License: All Rights Reserved. _\n\n\n\n\nThe Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa is a slapstick comedy television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. It was aired on CBS Saturday Morning, as well as in syndication on _The Disney Afternoon_ , from 1995 to 1996, before getting one more season exclusive to Toon Disney in 1999.\n\nThe series is a spin-off of the hit 1994 Disney animated feature film _The Lion King_ , and follows the misadventures of Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog as they continue to live by their problem-free philosophy _hakuna matata_. Compared to most other _The Lion King_ media, the tone of the series is more slapstick comedy-oriented, as it was made to be reminiscent of old _Looney Tunes_ and MGM theatrical cartoons that influenced the show's sense of humor.\n\nThe season 3 end credits (1998) were set in a digital version of Filmotype Prima, most likely Bitstream’s **Impress**.\n\n\n\n\n_**Source: www.youtube.com **License: All Rights Reserved. _\n\n\n_**Source: www.youtube.com **License: All Rights Reserved. _\n\nThis post was originally published at Fonts In Use\n\n* * *",
