"textContent": "I've spoken before about my love for music. It's not for everyone (we all lie somewhere on a normal distribution curve for it, eh?) but for this little Thought System 📦 here, it's one of life's essentials. I can't recall the last time I didn't have some song or other in my head.\n\nI can still remember the moment that a friend of mine (who's a Daily Reminders subscriber!) showed up one evening at university, put on a CD and said,\n\n> _“Guys, you've got to listen to this.”_\n\nIt was Brian Transeau/BT's debut, Ima, a groundbreaking progressive trance album that set me off in a very particular direction of electronic musical love, that lasts to this very day.\n\n(I still listen to _Ima—_ which means ‘Now’, or 今 in Japanese—every time I do hard intervals on the indoor trainer 🚴🏻♂️ and, coming full circle with my musical influences, BT teamed up with one of my childhood heroes Howard Jones in 2019 to co-produce his strongest album in decades, Transform.)\n\nI've stuck with BT throughout the years—hits and misses alike—and apart from his music, I follow him on social media too, 'cos he's just an all round good guy and an inspiring, positive force in this world!\n\nAlthough much of his content is music tech-geekery that goes way over my head, it's interspersed with creative tips – behind the scenes snippets of how he manages to consistently produce great music, when times are tough, or he's not feeling inspired.\n\nHe posted this, just the other day, which made me smile, as it's about as 3Ps as you can get, without _actually_ talking about mind, consciousness and thought\n\n😂\n\nFor me, these kinds of on-the-nose observations about the human condition and the creative process provide further evidence (for my headcanon, at least) for the inside-out nature of life, allowing me to relax further into basically not knowing anything, and writing about _that_ every day.\n\nAs well as listening to some damn fine tunes.\n\nTrance-meets-orchestra music-smash! 💥 Sends shivers down my spine.\n\n🙌🏻\n\nGiles\n\nSIGN UP FOR THE DAILY REMINDERS newsletter\n\nWant to start __your__ days with helpful, insightful content like this?
