I got to see them with more time and detail than I would ever have without the paint. I got to see the way the dappled light cast the shadows of the dandelions on the pavement. I got to set one of the dandelion poofs off agains the shadow, and the other on the sunlight grasses. I got to see the little purple flowers interspersed among the grasses, and how they play off the yellow dandelions. How lucky am I to have gotten to see all this in a small patch of weeds?\n\n-ZR",
