Farmyard at Dusk

Here's the first in my potential short series of sunset farmland paintings. I'm working on some 12"x16" panels for this series. The size is a frustrating one for me. I have to work pretty slowly to do any good work, and the size of the brushwork required to paint a detailed painting at this size is a bit small for me generally. I like working larger. So this one is more of a painted sketch than a finished painting, I think. I'm hoping that each successive painting in this series allows me to get a bit more comfortable working slightly smaller. -ZR
