Immersive 'Portal of Nations' aims to connect public with multilateralism

GENEVA (AN) — Visitors to the United Nations will be offered a new immersive experience next month designed to explain international cooperation at a time of mounting conflicts, institutional distrust and growing attacks on multilateralism.

Known as the “Portal of Nations,” the project combines multimedia storytelling, negotiation simulations and interactive exhibits intended to show how the U.N. system affects daily life across issues ranging from humanitarian crises and migration to health, climate and emerging technologies.
