March 18, 2006
This is my report on activities of the [Mozilla Foundation][Mozilla] for the week ending February 24, 2006. (I’m still catching up after a delay.) Significant topics for the week included FOSDEM, CSUN, and relicensing.
Projects for the week
Here’s a partial listing of what I and others at the Foundation did the week of 24 February; note that I’ ve omitted the “next action(s)” comments because they were out of date:
- FOSDEM localizers meeting. This went off well (except for Gerv Markham having his luggage and laptop stolen) and ended up within budget.
- CSUN conference. I worked with Aaron Leventhal and Rafael Ebron to finalize arrangements for the Mozilla booth at the [CSUN conference][] on technology and people with disabilities. The Foundation sponsored travel for a student volunteer to attend and do booth duty.
- Mozilla (re)licensing. I made contact with one of the remaining contributors from whom we need permission for relicensing, and made a formal request for the necessary permissions.
This concludes the report.
