Frank Hecker
July 3, 2006
This is my report on activities of the [Mozilla Foundation][Mozilla] for the week ending June 30, 2006.
Projects for the week
Here’s a partial listing of what I and others at the Foundation did this past week:
- Accessibility grants. Still working on another accessibility grant.
Next action(s): Do a blog post to update folks on grant-related activities.
- Certification Authorities. I worked on CA applications from [Firmaprofesional][fp], the [Korean Information Security Agency][kisa] (KISA), and [Wells Fargo][wf].
Next action(s): Final action on Firmaprofesional. Get answers to remaining questions on Swisscom and KISA. Continue processing applications from more CAs waiting in the queue.
- Other. Gerv Markham had to go back into the hospital to correct a problem with fluid in his lungs.
Upcoming activities
Here’s what we’ll be doing and where we’ll be in the coming months.
- I will be in Mountain View CA on July 11 for a Mozilla Foundation board meeting.
- Zak Greant will be attending [OSCON 2006][] in Portland OR July 24--28.
This concludes the report.
