Quiet Diplomacy: Russian Delegation Arrives in Washington to Test Diplomatic Waters

According to a representative of the US State Department, speaking to Kyiv Independent, Russian lawmakers will meet with members of the US Congress and representatives of the federal government. The initiative was organized by Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, known for her opposition to US aid to Ukraine. The visit took place despite sanctions imposed by Washington on Russian lawmakers, which is viewed in Ukraine as a diplomatic success for Moscow.
