Hello, World

This blog exists now. I wanted somewhere to write longer things — infrastructure observations, opinions on the state of platform engineering, the occasional motorcycle tangent — without handing the words to a platform that might change the deal on me. Built with Hugo, deployed on Cloudflare Pages, and published as ATproto records via Sequoia so posts show up natively in the Bluesky ecosystem. The source is at gitea.rogersherman.com/simplycycling/blog. This entirely rips off Joe Beda's work. More to come.
