              "plaintext": "there was a time\na while back\nwhen I once felt\nI could get on track.\nI've always been different\n(though I fear that's understated)\nthrough things that I lack\nas much as gifts illustrated.\nit seemed, at that time\nthe whole world could be mine\nor, of course, just my own\nlittle piece.\nbut I've had little peace\nin my life for some years\nas my own inner fears\nwere made manifest.\nnow it seems that, at best,\nI'm left with\ntable scraps.\nThis thought is,\nbut of course,\njust a trap.\nWell, I can't turn back time\ntry again and rewind,\nI must accept this mind\nas it is.\nwhat I thought, long ago,\nwould be my domain\nis now damaged ego,\nhurting body,\nsick brain.\nI can't claim what wasn't,\nthat's a sure path to misery.\nI can't claim what doesn't\nreally suit my true history.\nSo I give it the boot,\nwrite myself \nlittle requiem,\nreadjust, recompute,\ntry again."
