Video: WebinAAR Wikipedia as Pedagogy

In this webinAAR, you will hear from three faculty who have incorporated Wikipedia editing into their pedagogy. During this roundtable session, faculty discuss why they decided to adopt the Wikipedia assignment and how it has affected their teaching. The panelists explore what Wikipedia can offer students and how students can help shape public understanding of religion by contributing to Wikipedia. They discuss how AI has reframed education and how Wikipedia fits into this new information landscape including addressing the challenges of using this public-facing project and as its broader impact for students, faculty, and scholarship.
