Does it work when I paste text back out? Kind of -- it certainly tries. But the four-asterisk-sequence on that last line becomes transformed to is rather janky.

Oh, gosh. ctrl-enter and enter do different things. I have mixed feelings about that.

OHGOSH, selecting text in the web editor is confined to the block, where block is terminated when you press enter (but not ctrl-enter). Hoooooboy.

Pasting in markdown text and expecting the autoformat to work seems... mixed, as well.

Ah well. WYSIWYGS are hard.

...I can embed a canvas? That's advanced.
