Cold Spoons Gelato is now closed, Highlands Cafe follows soon

On a beautiful, unseasonably warm 72-degree March Saturday, Cold Spoons Gelato, scooped out treats for the last time at 5924 W. Vliet. St. in Washington Heights. Owner Sandy Murphy closed the shop this past weekend. Her Highlands Cafe, across the street, is slated to close at the end of the month.
