The internet wasn't made for 100% uptime.
Every time bluesky (or really anything now) goes down it causes HUGE uproar. People have gotten wayy too used to 100% uptime, its becoming a problem. People don't know how to say "F" or "Oh well" anymore and do something else.
I remember big platforms like twitter, roblox, discord, going down all the time. Yeah it was annoying, but everyone knew it would come back up and would be patient. In the meantime we'd do something else. and I wasn't even there for earlier internet where things would be down even more.
I understand frustration for important things going down like banking or search or communication but why are we crashing out over bluesky.... Social media is not that important, just call/text a friend on another platform if you need to socialize while its down.
Maybe things should go offline more on purpose, like The Oasis at the end of Ready Player One. Closing day sounds nice
Take more breaks. Drink Water. Eat food. Find backup hobbies.
Thank you & goodnight
