University of North Texas to cut more than 70 programs and minors to trim $45 million deficit

Degrees in linguistics and Latin American and women’s and gender studies will be phased out. LGBTQ, Mexican American, Africana and Asian studies are among 25 undergrad minors that will also be cut.
