Drivers warned they could be fined on Midlands motorways despite going under 70mph

Thousands of motorists have been hit with motorway speeding fines on West Midlands roads despite travelling under the national speed limit of 70mph — caught out by temporary speed limits on the M6 and M42. Some may also have been hit with penalty points.
