  "textContent": "\n    I’m spinning.\n    \tIt’s too much.\n    \t\tAll the things.\n\n    I go to the only place.\n    \tThe only place that can bring me back.\n    \t\tBack to myself.\n\n    A cold swim.\n    \tShock to my body.\n    \t\tRelease for my mind.\n\n    A walk on the beach.\n    \tMeditative.\n    \tRhythm.\n    \t\tLulling me home.\n\n    I see a monarch in the sand.\n    \tTipped over on her side.\n    Legs pedaling in the air.\n    \tStruggling.\n    \t\tJust like me.\n\n    I sit down next to her and ask her aloud,\n    \t_Would you like me to intervene or just be with you in your struggle?_\n\n    Wings glued together with moisture\n    \tand dusted with sand,\n    I truly don’t know what will cause her less pain.\n    \tLiving or\n    \t\tDying.\n\n    I stay with her.\n    \tStay with the struggle\n    \t\tAnd wait for her reply.\n\n    She tells me she will accept my gentle intercession.\n    \tI right her and allow air to flow through her wings.\n    Hoping she will fly once again.\n    \tMaybe as far as Mexico.\n\n    _You have a big, big journey ahead of you if you can recover._\n    _You’re very brave._\n    \tI offer admiringly.\n\n    _Brave to face death all alone on this beach._\n    _Brave to fly all the way to Mexico._\n\n    _You’re very brave either way._\n\n    Then I hear my words echo back to me.\n    \tI hear the monarch lovingly whisper,\n\n    _You’re very brave to take this big, big journey._\n    _You’re brave to be fierce with reality._\n    \t_To surrender to what is._\n    \t_To live alongside the devastation._\n    \t_To walk a razor edge._\n\n    _You’re brave when you resist._\n    _You’re brave when you relinquish._\n\n    _You’re very brave either way._\n",
