Virtua Fighter Crossroads is a new chapter in Sega's franchise - Summer Game Fest

The dormant fighting game franchise has a new entry with Virtua Fighter Crossroads, co-developed by RGG. It's set to launch sometime in 2027.

In the trailer featuring new fighter Cielo, fans got just a taste of the cinematic narrative and intense action that will define RGG Studio’s foray into this unconventional new __ approach to the fighting game genre, all while retaining the series’ core legacy of pure, realistic combat with simple controls that made it a pillar of the industry.
