"textContent": "The next set for Magic: The Gathering is a big one; the first full Marvel arrives June 26th. Marvel Super Heroes is described as The Avengers plus friends…and enemies. We had the Spider-Man set last year, but this is our first full-sized set that is also Standard legal. There’s so much to see with this set, so let’s see what Wizards of the Coast and Marvel have teamed up to create:\n\n### **Power Up**\n\nStarting with new mechanics, our first new mechanic is Power Up. This is a one-time-use ability that you can activate for a specific effect. Even better, the cost is reduced by the creature's mana cost if it entered this turn.\n\n### **Teamwork**\n\nNext we have a mainstay of the comic world, Teamwork. Teamwork allows you to tap your creatures to enhance your spells.\n\n### **Plans**\n\nWe have a new enchantment type, Plans. These send you on a quest (just like those enchantments from Zendikar) for a reward further into the game.\n\n### **Heroes and Villains**\n\nYou may have noticed the new creature subtype, Villain. What would we be without our heroes, too, as these two subtypes play important roles within the set.\n\n### **Worthy**\n\nThis is a very specific mechanic, but it does make sense. A creature is Worthy if it is a legendary non-villain that is red and/or white. We finally know which creatures in Magic can wield Mjolnir.\n\n### **Returning Mechanics**\n\nThere’s a ton of returning mechanics appearing on a few cards, such as Improvise or Sagas from the most iconic storylines. I even snuck one into the cards above.\n\n### **Modal Double-Faced Cards**\n\nBefitting the dual lives many superheroes lead, we have more MDFC cards that can be cast for either side.\n\n### **New Dual Lands**\n\nA new cycle of dual lands is entering the game, allowing access to colored mana if they entered this turn or if you control a basic land.\n\n### **Alternate Artworks and Special Treatments**\n\nAs with any Magic set, we have several alternate artwork styles and special frames that will be available for players to collect.\n\n _Showcase Panel Frame_\n\n _Borderless Logo Frames_\n\n _Borderless Classic Comic Frames_\n\n _Borderless Source Material Frame_\n\n _Scene Cards_\n\nWhile hard to show off as they’re intended to be combined, there’s a new set of scene cards, with a huge panel at 18 cards.\n\n### **Commander**\n\nA full pod of new commander decks comes with this set, with a lot of new legendaries to helm all kinds of strategies.\n\n### Fantastic Four\n\n### Doom Prevails\n\n### Wakanda Forever\n\n### Avengers Assemble\n\nThere's even more to discover with this set, but these are the highlights. I'm excited to see how the full set will shake out later this month.",
