Fable delayed to 2027

XBOX is setting expectations and getting their year in order in a recent podcast. Fable was originally planned to release this autumn, as detailed in the Developer Direct earlier this year. Unfortunately, with a packed schedule for 2026 releases, it made sense for XBOX to push the reboot to February of 2027. I for one laud the move; it gives them room to breathe and for extra polish.

XBOX also confirmed in said podcast that the next generation for XBOX – Project Helix – will not receive any new information regarding the hybrid console. Take a look at the podcast below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
