"textContent": "We're back to recap a great week of **Comics & Manga** we read here at **GamingTrend.com** last week!\n\nWe have three comics to showcase this week: one from **Dark Horse Comics** , one from **Boom! Studios** , and one from **Titan Manga**!\n\nAt the end, we have a new piece by Tim Jenkins on **The Savage Sword of Conan #14**!**__** Keep an eye out for a **preview** of the comics we're covering this week!\n\nCover art and first five pages of ****Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Kyoshi Warriors - Issue #1****!\n\n### **Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Kyoshi Warriors - Issue #1**\n\nIf you're a fan of the animated Avatar: The Last Airbender, you're going to adore this comic! You have everything you could want and need from a side story taking place during the events of the show.\n\nThe Kyoshi Warriors have left their island to help protect the Earth Kingdom. This, however, isn't as simple as just showing up and being adored. They will be tested by one of the Earth Kingdom generals from the get-go and Suki (as the leader) will be hard-pressed into making some intense decisions for her and her team. I can't wait to see what happens next!\n\n1-Min Impressions of ****Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Kyoshi Warriors - Issue #1****!\n\nAvatar: The Last Airbender--The Kyoshi Warriors #1 :: Profile :: Dark Horse ComicsSuki and the Kyoshi Warriors leave their island home to join the war against the Fire Nation. Meanwhile, the citizens of Wonderland need the magic that Alice brings... if Alice is even the focus anymore.\n\n1-Min Impressions of ****Alice: Forever After - Issue #2****!\n\nAlice Forever After #2: 9798892159784 | PenguinRandomHouse.com: BooksThe opposing forces of reality and Wonderland threaten turmoil for Alice and her daughter! Nothing can prepare you for the intensity of Farewell, My Odin. The level of detail in the artwork lends itself to the ferocity of each situation.\n\nThere is a reason this is a Rated M manga as it includes violence, sexual violence, and more. So be aware if you're reading this around younger readers.\n\nFrom a story perspective, I'm enthralled with the characters and their reasonings for the violence they spew. While characters like Luke are doing this for vengeance on the families he was chosen by, others are doing it for a myriad of reasons. So as to not spoil anything, I simply suggest picking this one up on **May 19th**!\n\n1-Min Impressions of ****Farewell, My Odin - Vol. 2****!\n\nGet a copy of Farewell, My Odin Vol. 2 today!\n\n* * *\n\n### The Savage Sword of Conan #14 impressions\n\nFeaturing three thrilling new tales from the Howardverse, The Savage Sword of Conan #14 is an exhilarating ride from start to finish.\n\nFrom mysterious dwellers of a paradise beneath the desert sands, to sewer dwelling monsters, to the goddess of a temple on an uncharted island, writers Jim Zub, Matthew John, and Joe Pruett offer no shortage of excitement in this jumbo sized anthology.\n\nRead Tim's full impressions below:\n\nThe Savage Sword of Conan #14 impressionsParadise is not all it seemsGAMINGTRENDTim Jenkins\n\n* * *\n\nCover art for ****The Witcher: Blood Stone**** _****#4****_ ,****Spectacular Spider-Man: Brand New Day**** _****#1****_ , and ****Gran Familia**** _****Vol. 3****_!\n\n## **Coming this week from GamingTrend Comics & Manga:**\n\nImpressions of**The Witcher: Blood Stone _#4_** ,**Spectacular Spider-Man: Brand New Day _#1_** , and **Gran Familia _Vol. 3_**!\n\n* * *\n\nStay tuned to **GamingTrend.com** for all the news, reviews, and interviews you could want: **By humans, for humans**!",
